COVID-19 Declaration

Greetings Spottswood Family,

As we continue to experience the impact of the Covid-19 virus, it is imperative that we approach the coming days and weeks doing all things possible to remain safe and healthy.

As a church, we feel the health and safety of our members are our utmost concern.  Therefore, regretfully a decision has been made to temporarily close the church due to Covid-19 pandemic.  Remember, the church doors may be closed…but the CHURCH that lives within will continue to thrive.

During this age of technology, Pastor Counts will continue to deliver the Sunday morning sermon and conduct Bible Study.  The Spottswood “Care Team” will continue to follow our comprehensive plan in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

  • Sunday Morning Worship – “The Spott” is open for Sunday Morning Worship service with a maximum capacity limit.  You must register to attend an in person worship service. More information can be found here.  Click here to register for in person Worship service.  We will continue to stream the service on Facebook Live, YouTube  the Spottswood website “Live Church”.   Tune in here on Sunday at 10:00AM
  • Tithes/Offerings – The Board of Stewards are prepared to address this crisis offering numerous ways to give. We ask that you continue to give as you normally would.  We have a few options to make this easy:

  • Information will be disseminated via email and social media to keep everyone up to date

We ask that you remain prayerful and faithful with the knowledge that God is a God of healing.  He is ultimately in control.  Stay safe and healthy.

2 Chr 7:14 If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sins and will heal their land

Your humble servant,

Reverend Dr. Jonathon D. Counts, Pastor
